I'm moving — can I take my Worldline service with me?
In most cases, yes — and moving your existing service is easier (and avoids the setup steps of starting fresh as a new customer).
How to request a move
Call 1-855-299-0025 and have these five things ready:
- Your new address, including the postal code
- Whether the new place is a house, condo, or apartment (and the unit number)
- The date you'd like service moved
- The best phone number for a technician to reach you
- Whether you prefer to be contacted by phone or email
What happens next
- Your current service stays active until the new one is set up — no gap in between.
- You'll receive confirmation of your move request within 24 to 72 business hours.
- Bring your equipment (modem, router) from the old address to the new one. If the new address is on a different network type, a compatible modem will be shipped to you and you'll be told the estimated delivery date — the old modem then goes back with a prepaid return label.
- Some setups can be completed remotely; you'll be advised if a technician visit is needed.
If the new address isn't in our coverage area
You can cancel with no penalty other than returning your rented equipment (see "What is the cancellation policy?"). Two options worth knowing:
- Expecting a serviceable address within 60 days? Ask about keeping your equipment for the new location instead of returning it.
- Someone's taking over your old place? They can take over the service (a "transfer of responsibility") — they skip the new-customer setup steps, and you receive a referral credit. The incoming resident just needs to speak with us directly to confirm.
Only changing your mailing address?
If you're not moving the service itself (for example, updating a billing address), call us — mailing-address changes are handled by our team. See "How do I update my account details?"
