Does Worldline offer fibre internet?
Yes! Worldline now offers fibre internet in select Ontario areas, alongside our cable and DSL plans.
What's the difference?
- Fibre — delivered over fibre-optic lines; our fastest and most reliable connection type. Available in select areas, with high-speed tiers such as Fibre 500 ($89.95/month) and Fibre 1 Gig ($99.95/month) — our fastest plan, thanks to fibre's higher upload speeds.
- Cable — delivered over the same coax lines used for cable TV; a fast, stable connection available across much of our footprint.
- DSL — delivered over telephone lines; a dependable option where cable and fibre aren't available.
Plan speeds and current pricing are always up to date at https://worldline.ca.
How do I know if fibre is available at my address?
Run a coverage check at https://worldline.ca/check-coverage — it shows every plan type available at your address. If you only see certain plan types listed, those are what's currently available at your location. Fibre availability is expanding, so it's worth checking back.
If the checker can't confirm your address, request a manual address check.
Equipment
Worldline supplies a compatible fibre modem/router, which you can rent or purchase ($149.95 to buy). If you'd like to use your own networking equipment with fibre, contact our sales team first so we can confirm compatibility.
