How do I use my voicemail (check messages, change greeting, change password)?
Check your messages from home
- Pick up your home phone and dial *98.
- Enter your voicemail password.
- Default password: the last four digits of your phone number, reversed. Example — if your number ends in 1234, the default password is 4321.
The voicemail menu
Press | To |
|---|---|
1 | Listen to new messages |
2 | Listen to saved messages |
5 | Advanced options — greetings and password |
0 | Mailbox options |
# | Exit |
Change your password
Dial *98 → enter your password → press 0 (Mailbox options) → press 5 (Change password).
We recommend changing the default password the first time you use voicemail.
Check messages when you're away from home
- Call your own home phone number.
- When voicemail answers, press #.
- Enter your password.
Send all calls straight to voicemail (Do Not Disturb)
Dial *78 to turn Do Not Disturb on, and *79 to turn it off.
Trouble getting in?
- If the system doesn't respond to your key presses at all, your phone equipment may need a small settings adjustment on our end — contact support and mention "keypad tones not recognized."
- Locked out or the default password doesn't work? Contact support and we'll reset it.
