# How long does it take to get connected?

Typical activation timeframes after you place your order:

- **Ontario:** 2–5 days
- **Quebec:** about 5 days

For other regions, we confirm your exact timeline when you place your order.

Once your order is in, we'll email you to confirm your **activation date and time window** for your region. If you haven't received an activation email, check your spam folder first, then contact us.

## When does my modem arrive?

Your equipment ships free, and we email you a **tracking number** when it goes out. It's timed to arrive before your activation date, and your activation email includes your schedule. If your activation date is approaching and nothing has arrived, contact us right away.

**Important:** wait until your scheduled activation date to plug in your equipment. For remote activations, power on your modem about an hour after your scheduled window ends — for example, if your window was 8–11 am, plug in around noon. See [I have received my Worldline equipment. Now what?](https://help.worldline.ca/en/article/i-have-received-my-worldline-equipment-now-what-19vq6nf/) for full setup steps.

## What about TV and home phone?

- **BeaverTV** works over your internet connection — as soon as your internet is active, just download the BeaverTV app on your streaming device and log in with the credentials we email you.
- **Home phone** uses a small phone adapter that arrives pre-configured — plug it in once your internet is active and you're ready to make calls.
